Well Hello There

A small quip on the top of the Homepage doesn’t really count personal introduction. So I’ll make one here since it’s as good a place as any (and Paul the designer has kindly created this space for me in any case).

So hello! I’m Jonathan, although I’ve gone by the username CrimsonTemplar before (old reference to varied fantasy games) on the dark internet alleyways. I am 27 years of age, mentally 60, a freelance Broadcast Journalist and love to goof around and bring texts to life or make something up using my singular voice. So logically I thought that would transition naturally into some form of profession.

It’s been a bit of a ride though. A mixture of self-taught lessons, seeing what works and doesn’t quite and a fair a bit of training with vocal coaches, before recording that demo reel to capture all that I can do. Even if it was a narration demo!

Oh yes, Voiceover is something I love with a passion. Giving even the most mundane a bit of vibrancy and authenticity.

What else about me? I do enjoy a fair amount of walking and hiking around. I did grow up in Devon after all. I like a good swim and enjoy taking the odd landscape photo (see for example a picture of Dartmoor taken last summer on my twitter page). Camping takes my fancy sometimes though haven’t done that in recent years, which is a bit of shame.

But it is Voiceover that remains my core passion throughout!

I hope this more detailed summary, helps you understand a bit more of myself. Let me round this post off by saying that I’m happy you’ve read this far. If you are ever in need of my services, then you know where to find me.

Thank you and I look forward to working with you.
